The emblematic yet now obsolete hero of the 5 year long Kuiper Belt conflict, The Type B Scylla Class Destroyer "BattleHorse Scylla" is photographed while in transit through the outer edge of the belt, in this spectacular vista of the dwarf planet Napaeae (not discovered until the second half of the 21st century) and its tiny moon, Cybele, or "protector in War", named after a mythological greek goddess. Cybele would indeed play a major role in the final chapter of this sensless war.
By the end of the conflict, all Scylla Class destroyers in service had been vastly improved and upgraded with much better armour and additional point defence batteries. A Gatlin RailGun was also fitted below the nose as a countermeasure against those dreaded Helium-2 fission magnetic mines, all kinds of assorted missiles thrown at her and small fighters.
Modelled in Wings 3D.
Ship and planet Napaeae Rendered in Bryce 6.
